Bottle Cap Bows...

So...I've decided I took a long enough break from BOWS! 

I went on a headband making kick for a while there, but my customers seem to prefer Bows! :)

This makes me kind of excited!! Not that I will stop making headbands, they relax me and it's something I really enjoy making, but Bows have a special place in my heart. (My daughter wears one EVERYDAY!)

So to start off, I have a question...What kind of images would you all like to see on some new bows to Karrington's Kreations?

The plan I have is to start making a lot of different stacked bows with bottle cap centers. These centers will have 1" pictures on them and I'm so excited to start offering them.

What i need for you all is what kind of bows you would like to see, what kind of bottle cap images should I be stocking...So...Comment below or on Facebook to let me know what you think.

Another New Month has arrived!!

So another new month has come and that means another POM!
This month we are offering a fabulous headband, the first of many I'm sure. This beautiful headband was modeled recently by the adorable Miss Kendalyn Jade and is one of my favorite headbands to not only make, but to wear myself as well as for my daughter.

Night Owl Collaboration!!

For those of you who don't already know of  the AMAZING Night Owl, you're missing out!

Trisha, the fabulous owner of Night Owl, and I are collaborating this year for her mini collections. The first of those collections is her Summer Sorbet line that is to die for. It really reminds me of a summer day eating ice cream and spending time with friends. (Loads of Pinks, yellows, blues etc.)
Next week I will be releasing hair accessories to match this Summer Sorbet line and each of these items will be OOAK as well.

Welcome to Karrington's Kreations!!

For the Longest time I have had a dream of being a full time crafter. Crafting, in any form, is a release for me; whether it be paper crafting, making hair accessories, or just using scraps to prettify a work space, it's a time and place that makes me happy.


In September 2009, I gave birth to a baby girl. When I had my son 3 years earlier, crafting took a back seat to LIFE. I was given the opportunity to stay home with my children after Karrington entered the world and this gave me time to redefine my passion for all things crafty. *I must thank my husband for that!*


With this new found time and redefined passion for crafting, I decided why not take my passion to another level? I finally had my little girl, a reason for my crafting outlet, and Karrington's Kreations was born in 2010.


Over the past year, I've started school to become a Special Education teacher. I have a little over a year until I earn my bachelors degree and pursue my lifelong dream of teaching. My little side business has taken a backseat for my education, but it's something I'm oh so passionate about.


I'm nearing the end of 2011 and have taken on my business full force. That leads me to this blog. Not only do I have an passion for crafting, but a passion for the written word and sharing my fortunes and knowledge with others. On this blog you will see everything from photos of my little ones to school accomplishments and business successes. I hope to share a little of what I learn throughout my process of starting and maintaining my own craft business and 
maybe even inspire you to follow your dreams.
